Frankfurt, Germany, September 10, 2024 – Continental, a global leader in the automotive industry, has unveiled a comprehensive expansion of its aftermarket product range, delivering original equipment quality to workshops and car owners. The company is introducing a broad array of new products, including chassis and steering components, advanced sensors for driver assistance systems, and high-pressure fuel pumps. Alongside these products, Continental is enhancing its service portfolio to provide high-quality support for workshops, including the new "Remote Support" digital service that guides mechanics through repairs via video chat.
As part of the expansion, Continental introduces multifunctional camera modules, Long-Range, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Blind Spot radars compatible with leading vehicle brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Nissan, Volkswagen, and Audi. With over 20 years of experience in sensor technology, having supplied more than 200 million sensors and control units, Continental is gearing up to meet the growing market demand by adding these new components to its aftermarket spare parts program starting in mid-2025.
Continental is now offering a new line of spare parts for steering and chassis systems, including wheel bearings. This decision follows extensive analysis by Continental’s aftermarket experts and feedback from workshops, showcasing the high demand for these products. The market launch is staggered and will be completed by mid-2025, providing wide coverage of the European vehicle fleet. "We now offer automotive mechatronics technicians even more spare parts that customers can immediately recognize as premium thanks to the Continental brand – providing reliability, durability, and professional installation," says Rolf Sudmann, Head of Aftermarket in the Industrial Solutions EMEA business unit of the ContiTech group sector.

The company is also bringing high-pressure fuel pumps to the market for the first time next year, addressing the needs of modern engine designs.
In its commitment to practical and eco-friendly solutions, Continental now offers water pumps without control units, enabling cost-effective repairs when the original control unit is still functional. The expansion of belt drive kits includes a new timing belt kit designed for Ford’s 2.0 EcoBlue engine's belt-in-oil technology. Additionally, Continental is pioneering the use of sustainable materials in its products, introducing the CONTI NXT Multi V-belt, which incorporates a high proportion of renewable and recycled materials.
By expanding its aftermarket product range, Continental continues to support workshops with top-quality components, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the evolving needs of modern vehicle maintenance and repair.
